यह आरती हनुमान जी के बल, भक्ति और उनके द्वारा किए गए पराक्रम का वर्णन करती है—लंका दहन, सीता जी की खोज, संजीवनी बूटी लाकर लक्ष्मण के प्राण बचाना और अहिरावण का वध। हनुमान जी को रघुनाथ (श्रीराम) का परम भक्त और संकटमोचक बताया गया है।
English Translation
This aarti recounts Lord Hanuman’s mighty deeds — burning Lanka, finding Sita, bringing the Sanjeevani herb to save Lakshmana’s life, and defeating Ahiravana in the netherworld. He is glorified as Anjani’s son, Rama’s greatest devotee, and the remover of every difficulty (Sankat Mochan) for those who worship him.
Significance
One of the most popular aartis in North India, sung daily at Hanuman temples, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and especially during Hanuman Jayanti; devotees believe it grants courage, protection from evil, and relief from troubles.
How to Chant?
Offer sindoor, chameli oil, and boondi laddoo to Hanuman ji’s idol, light a diya, and sing the aarti while circling the lamp; reciting the Hanuman Chalisa beforehand is a common practice.
Number of Repetitions
Once daily; especially recommended on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and throughout Hanuman Jayanti celebrations.
